How do I change the Lighting on my keyboard

Please make sure you update to the latest firmware first in the downloads section.

One side of my keyboard does not light up or work what do I do?

If one side of your keyboard is not function all you need to do is flip the connecting cord around. The pins will need to be on the proper side in order for the keyboard to function.

Can you replace the bridging cable for a longer cable? If so what type of cord/plugin is used?

Currently, only the included 9" bridging cable will work ( but longer versions of the cable are in the works). Note that the included cable has a USB-C interface. However, purchasing a longer standard USB-C cable won't work due to the different pin-o

Does this keyboard use usb 3.0 or 2.0 ?

It works best with 3.0 per the documentation on their website. "System Requirements: USB port (Recommended USB 3.0 for the best experience)

Is this plug and play? Or is software installation required?

It is Plug and play. The software is needed to fully customize the keyboard.

Would this keyboard work with a mac?

This will work with mac and it is plug and play. However, the software is only currently for Windows-based PC's. You won't get as much customization. You do still get the light show though, so that's nice at least.

Cloud Nine Keyboard Warranty

My Keyboard will not light up or turn on?

If your keyboard is not lighting up or turning on please do the following. (these are custom USB C cables with special pin sets so it needs to be seated properly).

Will this keyboard work with a KVM switch?

Yes it will. The KVM must have power and about 150 mA,  As attached file K89M has USB hub MCU inside and supports one USB data port,  KVM Also supports  USB data link.

Is there a way to cycle through a user's profiles in the app?

The answer is YES. Note: Exchange user's profiles by a button press, The next new app version will build-in it with the previous requirement of backlight color UI.  ( 6/30 we will have engineering version)

My Keyboard Randomly Disconnects USB

Sometimes the keyboard will lose power because of insufficient MAH provided by the USB port. The keyboard consumes 500+mA when all backlighting is on.  If the keyboard is plugged through a USB hub or a front port on the desktop this issue may happen
